Share a village while following your own interests
Meet friends to chat, each fish by the water, or visit one another’s homes and yards. Enjoy activities you can do on your own, such as fishing or caring for plants, then get together for a minigame.
Discover other residents' everyday lives
Talk with residents as you explore the village and visit houses and yards. Leave messages through photo albums, guestbooks, and the free board. Follow residents to receive social notifications according to your settings.
Get together for a short minigame
Minigames include One Card, Gomoku, Sketch Party, Beat Party, and Hot Potato. Access them through NPCs or furniture once the conditions are met. Some activities use sound or voice chat, so adjust your settings to suit your surroundings.
Choose personal goals and group activities
Decorate a home, care for plants, or fish while working toward your own goals. When you want company, explore social activities and minigames. Participant requirements, life skill unlocks, and other conditions vary by activity.

- Visit residents' spaces and explore follow and notification settings.
- Check the unlock conditions at NPCs or furniture and join a minigame.
Can I fish or play minigames with friends in the same village?
Yes. In Insight Town, you can meet to chat while each of you fishes, or play One Card, Gomoku, and Sketch Party together. Each minigame has its own unlock and participant requirements.
Can I start without bringing friends?
Yes. Begin with caring for plants, fishing, or decorating your space on your own. An online connection is still required, and some activities need multiple participants.
Is every activity free of competition?
Town includes life activities as well as minigames, rankings, and combat content. You can choose what to explore, but not every activity is noncompetitive.
