Find a place for each piece of furniture
Furniture can be placed inside a house or in a yard, depending on the item. Some pieces also provide access to photo albums, guestbooks, workshops, collection books, or minigames. Combine decorations and useful furniture while checking where each item can be placed.
Turn your decorated space into a meeting place
After decorating your home and yard, visit other residents’ spaces and share your own. Leave stories through photo albums and guestbooks, and place furniture with minigame functions to offer activities to enjoy together.
Build a house and expand your space
Collect building contracts and the required materials to build a house. Upgrades can add rooms and expand its functions. Building upgrades have success rates and failure bonuses, so check the guidebook for materials and the current conditions before making an attempt.
Keep an eye on building upkeep
Buildings have upkeep deadlines and can be automatically recovered when they expire. The starting deadline can differ between a newly completed building and one placed again from storage. Check the remaining time and extension conditions in building details as you look after your home.

Yes. Each furniture type has its own placement conditions, so not every item can be placed in both locations. Check the item before arranging it indoors or in the yard.
Can my house offer activities as well as decorations?
Functional furniture can provide albums, guestbooks, workshops, or minigames. The activities available depend on the furniture you place.
