Fish by the water, gather materials around the village, and turn ingredients into food. Insight Town connects these activities through fishing rods, recipes, and food effects that help with everyday play.
Take a fishing rod to the water
With a fishing rod in your inventory, approach the water and use the rod button to start fishing. Results can vary with the location, rod, food, titles, and research effects. Develop your fishing rod as you discover different fish.
Gather materials for exchanges and recipes
Gathering can provide herbs, flowers, and other materials. Rewards and the waiting time after a failed attempt vary by location. You can also exchange gathered value for useful items at Herbalist Eunha's shop.
Prepare ingredients and make food
Cooking requests use gathered and harvested ingredients, as well as cleaned or grilled materials. Grilling can fail, succeed, or produce a perfect result. Depending on the dish, food can shorten fishing time or increase harvests, among other effects.

- Gather and harvest ingredients, then check the requirements for a cooking request.
- Check food effects and fatigue as you move between fishing, gathering, and cooking.
Can I meet friends to fish and enjoy cooking too?
Yes. Meet friends in the same village to chat while each of you fishes, and use ingredients from fishing, gathering, and harvests in cooking requests. Check each activity’s ingredients, fatigue, and other requirements.
Can I repeat fishing and gathering without limits?
Repeated life activities have conditions such as fatigue. Use recovery items, food, or rewards, and check your current status in the game.
Is automatic fishing available?
Automatic rods and auto-fishing food can help repeat fishing at set intervals. The required items and conditions still apply; this does not mean fishing continues automatically offline.
